Mary Guenther, MA, CCC-SLP

Mary received her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Montclair State University. She has over ten years of experience in providing speech-language therapy to the pediatric population in both private and public schools, as well as in the home.

Mary’s specialties include treatment of speech sound disorders, literacy-based language interventions, and use of a total communication approach, including high-tech AAC, for children with complex communication needs. She enjoys providing fun, engaging, high-quality therapy through child-led sessions supported by up-to-date research on best practices.

She is also passionate about advocating on behalf of children for appropriate academic programming and interventions with an emphasis on increased collaboration between interdisciplinary team members and families. Outside of the speech-language therapy world, Mary enjoys diving into a good book, trying new recipes, and spending time with family.
